Andrew G. Bussen, MAI, GAA is the President of Bussen Company and holds the MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a General Accredited Appraiser (GAA) with the National Association of Realtors. He earned an Undergraduate degree (B.B.A.) in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been a commercial appraiser since 1992. A native of Wisconsin, he also lived in California from 2002-2006 and holds Certified General Appraiser and Real Estate Broker licenses in Wisconsin and California.
Prior to organizing Bussen Company, he has also worked with Ernst & Young LLP, CB Richard Ellis and PGP Valuation, Inc. He has appraised a wide variety of property types in many different geographic areas.

Michael J. Rice graduated from Central Washington University in 1995 with a BA in English, and started appraising in 1998. As an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute, he has attended several of the Institute’s qualifying education and advanced-level courses toward state certification and the MAI designation. Assignments have covered a wide variety of commercial property types and rights, with appraisals and market studies conducted for mortgage underwriting, development, feasibility analysis, lease negotiation, acquisition/disposition, and asset management purposes.
Michael holds Certified General Real Estate Appraiser credentials in Wisconsin and his native Washington State, and joined Bussen Company in 2008. He previously spent seven years with PGP Valuation, Inc. (now FirstService PGP) in Seattle.

Michael Pudelwitts is a Research Assistant at Bussen Company. He started as the newest member of the Bussen Company team in January 2010. Michael served four years in the U.S. Marines Corp and worked in the construction industry prior to returning to school and completing his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2010. He has over five years experience managing rental housing.
Michael has been married to his wife Adelina for two years. Michael and his wife, along with their two dogs, recently welcomed the addition of a new baby boy, named Hudson.
